John W. Loftus is a former Christian minister and apologist with M.A., M.Div., and Th.M. degrees in Philosophy, Theology, and the Philosophy of Religion from Lincoln Christian Seminary and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. While in school John majored under the mentoring of Drs. James D. Strauss and William Lane Craig.

John also studied in a Ph.D. program at Marquette University for a year and a half in the area of Theology and Ethics.

John is the founder of a Blog called Debunking Christianity which has gained quite a following. He is the author of the book, Why I Became an Atheist: A Former Preacher Rejects Christianity and edited a book titled: The Christian Delusion: Why Faith Fails, and The End of Christianity to be published with Prometheus Books in 2011.

    • Oh, yes, of course, right inside the player, at the right bottom you can see the iTunes symbol, click on it and will launch the iTunes application and allow you to subscribe.

      Also, you can add the show’s RSS to any podcast reader.

  2. Is there any way to down load these radio shows (mp3).  I have a boring job and would love to listen to these when I’m not so busy (at work).

    • Hello, Marc. Yes, of course you can download these as mp3 files, you can do so adding the RSS feed of the show to any podcast receiver, or you can subscribe via iTunes by clicking on the iTunes symbol, it’s right into the player at the bottom to the right.

      But you probably won’t want to miss the show this Sunday, Dr Phil Plait will be live, and you can call in! Set a reminder here.
